Iran Photo Tour

On our Iran photography trip, this time we will head towards the less visited regions of Iran. We will visit many villages, towns and cities and see the temple of the fire worshipers. We will visit many regions including nomadic Turks. When it comes to Iran, the most frequently asked question is “I will go to another country, will there be a problem with my passport?” The question arises. Iran does not stamp passports at all. Don’t worry about this. Another issue is the headscarf issue. It is enough for tourists and women living there to cover their heads with a shawl and even have their hair partially visible.

Program

  1. Day: We will land at Mashhad airport in the morning and start traveling before checking into the hotel. After breakfast, we will head towards Nishapur. Here we will visit the grave of Omar Khayyam, whom we all know and read one of his books. Of course, we will also take photos in the city. Nishapur is a very old city founded in the 3rd century. This city is also famous for its turquoise mine and turquoise stones. From here, our road will continue towards a village. The houses in the village are made of mud bricks. Of course, we will see the friendly face and hospitality of Iran that we see every time. We will visit houses and chat, sometimes take a tea break and continue taking photos. We will visit a tomb towards the evening. This is a very sacred place where it is believed that those who come are healed. When entering the tomb, women are asked to wear long clothes and cover their hair so that it cannot be seen. However, we will only be able to take photos with our mobile phone in this tomb. After this first day full of photographs, we will have dinner together and rest at our hotel.
  2. Day: After our breakfast, today we will go to a village known as the textile village of Iran. We will take photographs of women weaving with very traditional methods inside the mud brick houses in Khorasan. It is such a special village that it has received the UNESCO originality award. Almost all of the 300 – 400 households living in the village are engaged in weaving. Also, if we want, a whirling dervish can perform a special whirling dervish for us here at sunset. Today we will be in Khorasan and the village all day long. In the evening, we will have our meal together and go to our hotel to rest.
  3. Day: After breakfast, after a journey of approximately 5 hours, we will reach the village where we will take photos today. We will go to the saffron collection fields in this village. We will see how saffron is harvested and the routes it passes through. The rest of our day will be spent taking photographs in this village, on farms and fields. We will all have dinner together in the evening.

  5. Day 2: After breakfast, we will explore the magnificent city of Yazd. We will see the towers that form the city’s interesting cooling system and its different architecture. In this Zoroastrian city, we will visit the towers of silence and the fire place, where they buried their dead in ancient times. Afterwards, we will go to a cafeteria where we will see the city from above and take photographs from above. Of course, we will go down to the cloistered streets of the city and take photos of people there. You will love this city very much. We will have a full day and end the day with dinner.
