Bangladesh Photo Tour

We at Azgezmiş, sometimes quite daring and pioneering in our photography trips, are embarking on a Bangladeshi route this time. Bangladesh is a fascinating destination, packed with photos, where we’ll discover new places that will amaze us every day. Our 10-day visit has many fascinating places on our list. First and foremost, we’ll visit a shipbreaking port. We’ll enter this port and photograph the workers at work. We’ll visit and photograph those carrying cargo to ships in the Bay of Bengal. We’ll also visit brick factories, witnessing and photographing brickmaking under traditional conditions, amidst a bit of dust and dirt. Over the next 10 days, we’ll travel the country by bus and plane, immersing ourselves in the lives of the people, and capturing images of these lives.

Our trip will start on February 14, 2026, but deciding in advance will allow us to purchase our flight tickets at more affordable prices.

Program

Day 1: We’ll arrive in Dhaka in the morning and spend the day introducing photography. We’ll take a short photography tour until noon, then return to our hotel at noon and rest for a bit until dinner. Those who aren’t tired can continue taking photos until dinner. We’ll all head to a restaurant in the city for dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, we’ll begin the day by taking photos at the dyed fabric area near Dhaka city. Then, we’ll visit the brick factory. We’ll take an unforgettable trip to one of Dhaka’s largest brick factories, where you’ll witness the incredible effort and endurance of the brick makers. You’ll be amazed by the sight of thousands of bricks stacked in neat rows, waiting to be fired in massive kilns. We’ll be surrounded by photos. We’ll all have dinner together.

Day 3: After breakfast, we’ll visit the crowded slum area first thing in the morning. We’ll see and photograph the lives of the families living there. We’ll then continue our photography tour by visiting the train station. We’ll all have dinner together.

Day 4: After breakfast today, we’ll visit the shipbreaking yard, coal miners’ market, and chicken market. In the afternoon, we’ll explore and photograph the lifestyle of the sand and coal workers. Later that evening, we’ll fly to Cox’s Bazar.

Day 5: After breakfast, our photography tour begins in Cox’s Bazar. It’s famous for having the world’s longest uninterrupted natural beach, stretching approximately 120 km along the Bay of Bengal. Today, we’ll photograph fishermen at the site, where everyone from children to the elderly, women and men, gather together. Then, under the open sky, we’ll visit the fish drying yards. In the afternoon, we’ll head south to see how boats full of fishermen set out on overnight fishing trips or return with a boatload of fish. The crescent-shaped fishing boats in Cox’s Bazar, also known as “moon boats,” make for a truly aesthetically pleasing photograph. In the evening, we’ll all have dinner together again.

Day 6: Early in the morning, we’ll visit the country’s largest fish market. We’ll set off for a boat that’s docked on the shore. Boats that have been at sea for days or weeks unload their goods, trade, refuel, and reload, then return to the sea. After a day of capturing stunning photos, we’ll board a plane to return to Dhaka in the evening.

Day 7: After breakfast, we’ll depart Dhaka early in the morning to photograph the rice mill. Another photo-packed day awaits us. At the end of the day, we’ll have dinner and retire to our hotel.

Day 8: After breakfast, we’ll head to an area where we’ll photograph the traditional drying of peppers. This will be a very colorful and enjoyable area for taking photos. Of course, as always, we’ll stop for photos along the way. We’ll all enjoy our meal and relax.

Day 9: After breakfast, we’ll visit a rather interesting food production facility. Afterward, we’ll take photos at a bull bathing site. At the end of the day, we’ll all have dinner together.

Day 10: Today is our last day, and we’ll be at the end of another incredible photography trip. We’ll photograph and experience the lives of people in the middle of nowhere, detached from technology. As always, we’ll return with a wealth of new photos and new insights. We’ll depart our hotel to arrive at the site at least three hours before our flight.
