Murmansk Northern Lights Photo Tour

Day 1: We will arrive in Murmansk on February 15th. Our vehicle and guide will be waiting for us at the airport. After checking into our hotel and having dinner, our first night northern lights tour will begin. We will have our first night adventure, which will last 3 or 4 hours, in a place where we can see the light. We hope to see the northern lights on the first night. This is one of the areas where the northern lights are most visible. You need to bring a tripod with you to photograph the northern lights. We will explain how to shoot the northern lights for the first time in advance.

Day 2: After breakfast, we will visit a village after a two-hour journey today. In this village, we will visit the Sami people and their reindeer friends. We will take photos on the farm. We will have a fairytale sleigh ride with the reindeer on the white snow cover. We will have lunch at a local restaurant here. You will love the Russian cakes. The most famous pastry chefs in Turkey today learned pastry making in Russia and came here. We will talk about the story there. At the end of the day, we will return to our hotel. After having dinner, we will have a 3-4 hour night tour for the northern lights again.

Day 3: After breakfast, we will visit a Husky village again. We will socialize with the dogs and take their photos. We will have a short and enjoyable Husky sled tour on the snowy plains and in the forest. If you want, you can drive the sled in this experience that you will have for the first time in your life. After having lunch here, we will visit a museum. This museum is a living museum. People walk around in their old clothes and tell about their traditions. We will see the Sami people here and take their photos. When we finish the day, we will return to our hotel and have dinner together. After dinner, we will go on a light hunt that will last 3-4 hours again to see the northern lights that we hope are waiting for us.

Day 4: After breakfast, we will visit Murmansk today. We will see the port and living spaces in this city located in the Arctic region. Our guide will tell us about the importance of the city during the “Second World War” period. Today, we will stop at some places in the city and take photos, sometimes we will walk in the city. We will have a lunch break. We will spend the whole day visiting Murmansk. In the evening, we will return to our hotel and have dinner together. Of course, we can go on a light hunt to see if there is a chance of seeing the northern light again.

Day 5: After breakfast, we can freely take photos in the city until our flight and look at the places we remember again. We will go to the airport to board our plane around noon. It will be a very unforgettable trip where we will see the villages, spend time with the animals and be happy, and meet the Sami race, whose numbers are still few, and take photos. Of course, we cannot guarantee, but if we see the northern lights every night, our trip will be magnificent.

• People who will join our tour from different countries can buy their plane tickets a day earlier.
• We can arrange a transfer to pick them up from the airport upon request. We can book an extra hotel for one night.
