We have prepared a Şanlıurfa photography trip where every day will be full of photographs. This geography, which has not changed much yet, impresses us every time we visit in terms of photography. Our trip will start on September 28 and end on September 30. During this 3-day trip, not a single minute of our time will pass without taking photographs.
Program
- Day: Our first day, which will start by being picked up from the airport, will be spent in the streets of Şanlıurfa. After visiting Balıklı Lake and its surroundings, which always provide photographs, we will spend some free time in the Urfa bazaar. Anyone who wishes can travel alone or with us. We could spend most of the day in these streets, full of stories and photographs everywhere. When we get tired, we can rest at Gümrük Han, which is like an oasis in the middle of the bazaar, and then continue photography. Of course, in the evening we will enter the narrow streets of Şanlıurfa and see the life in the houses. Sometimes we will come across a wedding, sometimes a celebration. This is how we will end the first day. Everyone can move freely for dinner. Or we can eat at a place we will determine together.
- Day: After our breakfast, we will go to Harran today. However, today we do not only have Harran in our program. We will also visit the magnificent Bazda Caves. We will also visit two separate villages located within two ancient cities. We are guests in the houses of these villages every time we visit. The doors are always open for a cup of tea anyway. Our day will end again full of photographs. Dinner will be eaten freely in Urfa.
- Day: After our breakfast, today we will go to the oldest ritual center in the world and visit this place. Göbeklitepe is a very impressive place with its story. We went and visited it when it was first located in the middle of the field. At that time there were huge standing stones standing in the middle of nowhere. Isn’t it interesting that there are phalluses drawn in relief on the stones and that women still come today and tie rags to the tree here to wish for a child. Even though it is underground, it has been said from centuries ago until today that there is something happening with reproduction here. After this visit, we will go to Karahantepe, which is even older than Göbeklitepe. We will listen to the interesting story of the find here. It’s a room where people who enter it come out in a different way. We will see this by listening to his story. From here we will end the day by going to the airport. You won’t be able to get enough of Şanlıurfa in terms of photography. Goodbye for now, Şanlıurfa, to come again.
